Hell, my name is Will. I am fairly new to the Z community. I have a 1990 NA 300ZX, I bought about 6 months ago with a blow head gasket, but flawless body for $500 (titled and all, couldn't pass it up) I rebuilt the engine, new bearings, seals, gaskets, rings, everything... bought a new EFI harness, and Alt to Trans Harness from Wiring specialties also. Well, I got it all put back together the other night, and I got 2 problems, and as I am new to working on Z's, I haven't the foggiest on how to fix them. 1.) My gauge cluster lights and oil pressure gauge don't work now, I have pulled every fuse, and checked relays, I cant figure it out. The AC control numbers are still working, UNTIL I turn on the headlights on High Beam, then those turn off also? I don't know where to look to fix those issues. (and the oil pressure has me worried obviously) 2.) The motor Idles perfectly, but it will jump to 2k RPM, and hold there for a moment, then drop down to 1.5k, then back to 2k, ect. It wont stay low on 850 (or so) like it should. If anyone can help me with these problems it would be much appreciated! Thanks!
